Music Boxes & Treasure Boxes

For all the ballerinas, princesses, cowgirls and fairies out there...

and they have neat-o drawers in addition to the top storage part...

and beautiful artwork on the outside of the boxes...

these are much more than just your average ballerina jewelry boxes...which is nice for the not-so-girly-girls (but the ones who still have jewelry and/or treasures to keep safe)...
and even some plain boxes with no music and no figurine...more space for jewelry...
and some are just so super cool that I know a certain 24 year old who has considered having a music box even as a grown up (it looks like a stump, people!)...

and we even have treasure boxes for the boys (girls too!)...

Come see all of the great gifts that we have in stock for the new year!
Mom and Dad just got back from market and you'll be so excited to hear about (and see) some of the great new lines they've picked up and the new stuff that's coming from the lines that you already love!

GREAT Expectations

We've had these bracelets for awhile but I've never posted about them.
I think they are so cute...nine bracelets each with a charm on it that has a blessing for the baby. These are great for new mommies who just found out they are expecting, for the new mommy who just gave birth, for a new grandma, etc. etc. They make great gifts and a great keepsake. They come in blue or pink and are really pretty with crystal and silver beading.

Piggy Banks

We got in a new shipment of piggy banks! These are one of our most popular items for showers, for birthdays...really, for any gift giving occasion for kids! They come with a number of designs...firetrucks, trains, work trucks, tractors, sports, etc. They can be personalized with a name, a birth date or anything else you'd like....and personalization is FREE! Check out the one I did several months ago for Connor Williams' first birthday!

We have them for girls too...but those were in another shipment and are already on display! Ballet, princess, flowers, etc.

And LOOK! These are the new piggy banks that I am so excited about for the smallest of sports fans! They look like fancy sports trophies (at least they do to me, the non-sports fan) and they have four (or more) available spaces for personalization. This is one I did for the new baby in our family, Joncollin Womack.

These make excellent gifts, like I said before...and for not that big of a price. Come in soon and see them!

Rah! Rah! Rah!

You asked for it...so here it is. Here are a few of the cheer things that we have at the shop.
We try to order stuff for our cheerleaders every chance we get...bags, frames, scrapbooks, pillow cases and fashion accessories are only a few of the cheer-themed gifts that show up from time to time at the shop.
Keep watching the blog or come on by the shop to see what else we might be getting in!
This is a 'memory box'. I cheered for nine years, so I know how important it is to keep all of those ribbons, newspaper clippings, photos, tickets, name tags, etc. in one place so that when you want to reminisce, you aren't forced to search all over the house for them.

This is a great and inexpensive gift! It works as a doorknob hanger, a wall hanging, a locker decoration....really, whatever you want it to be!

A cork board is another great way to keep those memories all in one place.

Frames, of course.

and every cheerleader needs her bag!

This is my FAVORITE!
The following bags aren't specifically for a cheerleader - but can't you just see them with the girl's name or the team's name embroidered on them? So cute!

Beautiful Beads

The very talented Miss Tabetha Sullens over at Reminisce Heirlooms made us some beautiful beaded glasses-holders to go with our new line of reading glasses...or any pair of reading or sunglasses that you might have lying around. I got mom several different glasses-holders for her Mother's Day gift and she really liked them....we're both big fans of Tabetha's work and we're really excited to carry her product at the shop!
Especially check out this red, white and blue glasses-holder...great for the coming weeks but it will also work for any day of the year!

Not Just For the Mommies and Daddies...

We have a new line of new baby products for grandparents and older siblings...it's not always just about the mommies and daddies, you know. For now we have photo albums (brag books), frames, and scrap book type album/journals.
There are more and more young grandmothers out there so I like that this album isn't old fashioned or a baby-ish theme that is limited to just a baby...I think this album is kind of hip and I also think that it will grow with the baby - so the grandma can use this album to show off her grandkids' pictures way past their first year.

Same goes for this picture frame...it isn't limited to a certain theme or sex...and its very neutral which is always good to go with any home decor.

This is Chalee when she visited us the other day...This is her in the middle of explaining to me that I shouldn't just be taking pictures of things...."you're suppose to take pictures of people, Ashley," she said.

Then the second she realized that I was taking HER picture...she started posing...she really is related to me, huh?
So, to make her happy, I took her picture holding one of the things that I needed a picture of. It's appropriate considering she will be a big sister very soon! She's very excited about her new baby, though it makes her just a little nervous. I keep reminding her that this new baby won't replace her for me though...she'll always be my favorite!
Here's a closeup of the book. It's like a baby book from the big sister's (and brother's) point of view.
