This little piggy...

This little piggy stuffed animal is just too cute for words! Seriously, look at it! It has a belly button...what could be cuter?
We just got him in at the shop as well as a cute little blanket with the "This little piggy went to market..." poem around the edges. Buy them both and you have a "pig in a blanket"...HA!
He's super soft and just perfect for your little one!

Wouldn't these look so good in an Easter basket for a new baby or a little kid? I think so.

Wubbanubs are Here!

We've been hearing raves about these little pacifier/lovie combos!

Plus...if you read my last Wubbabnub post, you'll see where I mentioned that Dierks Bently is a fan (well, his daughter is a fan) and anything good enough for Dierks is good enough for me!
...............................................................................
Here are a couple of pictures of my bloggy friend Renee's little boy Keeghan, with his Wubbanubs. Renee was one of the first to tell us about Wubbanubs and how great they are. Isn't he cute?

WUBBANUB -
a pacifier and lovie all in one - two of baby's favorite things combined - also solves the "missing pacifier" problem once and for all.
And country singer Dierks Bentley (and daddy to Baby Evie) is a big fan of Wubbanubs and even wrote a song about them that he sings to his daughter!

From their website:

Necessity is the mother of invention... A mother's love for her fussy child sparked inventiveness and ingenuity to create a revolutionary product which has been soothing baby's fussy time for over 10 years. Every parent will agree that they would do just about anything to soothe their crying child. Most parents also have their own "crying baby" horror stories which seemed to test their very sanity. The "Original" WubbaNub was created to solve a common dilemma most young families face.

The Birth of WubbaNub... They say "necessity is the mother of invention " and for Carla Schneider, it was an absolute necessity that she soothe her infant baby on their first vacation as a family. What was supposed to be a relatively relaxing, blissful time was replaced with non-stop fussing and crying. After an entire night of the ever-persistent "missing pacifier syndrome", Carla knew she needed to take matters into her own hands. She found the hotel sewing kit and took her baby's favorite soft plush toy and sewed the pacifier right onto it. Thus, a happy ending for the Schneider family's vacation and the birth of the first WubbaNub!

The luv for WubbaNub... Although pacifiers have been a family staple for numerous years, Carla's patented concept turned out to be a truly innovative improvement. Moms recognized the peaceful tranquility their children received and spread the word along to others. That word quickly spread to hospitals, who quickly recognized the products unique benefits. the slight weight of the plush animal keeps the pacifier in place near the baby. It also provides comfort and makes it so much easier for the baby to grasp and manipulate the pacifier themselves. Which means fewer bouncing, rolling and lost pacifiers and less rooting around in the stroller, crib or bag to find where the pacifier went.

WubbaNub has crated a reputation in the parenting and children's industry for being dedicated to nurturing babies in the safest, healthiest way possible. Over the last decade, WubbaNubs have been sold nationwide, converting a majority into die-hard fans because "once you go Wub, everything else is just a pacifier".

Even though Carla's children are not WubbaNub users anymore, her core philosophy to create products that she would feel safe giving them still holds true. WubbaNub strives to surpass the strictest codes and governmental regulations that ensure it is offering the best and safest WubbaNub products possible.

I'll keep you posted about the new lines that we're bringing into the shop and about when the Wubbanubs and BabyLegs start arriving. Stay tuned! And thanks again for your suggestions...keep 'em coming!

Lovies

I just love these new stuffed animals that are certified asthma and allergy friendly! That means something to me, Miss Allergy & Asthma! Do you know how excited my parents would have been to have found toys like these when I was little?
They've been tested for durability - meaning, not only will they hold up to being "loved" by children (i.e. dragged, dropped, thrown, sat on, chewed on, tugged, etc.) but the company also promises that they remain looking and feeling like new wash after wash. In addition, the quality and workmanship of the toys allow for the effective allergen reduction processes of freezing and drying too. They are safe for all ages and meet all "stuffed toy safety standards".
AND they're super cute!

They're perfect for any little one on your gift-giving list.

Christmas Ideas #7,#8,#9 & #10!

With less than 2 weeks until Christmas I've noticed that there are still a lot of people hunting for "the perfect Christmas gift" for that special someone on their list. So I've decided that from now until the 24th that I'm going to post at least one gift idea every day. Hopefully these ideas will inspire those of you who are having "shoppers block" and will jumpstart your holiday shopping!

4 Great Christmas Ideas in one post! Hooray!

Gift Idea #7 is Necklines

Necklines are one of our very best sellers at the shop. There is a Neckline for everyone because there are so many charms to choose from! And we love the company's creator and the designer -Valorie! She's so sweet and she really cares about what her customers think. Go to her website and see just what I'm talking about...her story is so inspiring! We love to support this company and are so glad that our customers do too!

Necklines are the perfect Christmas gift! They are under $10 so they make the perfect gift for school, church and team parties, they make great teacher gifts and are great for those kids that have soooo many friends! They're also nice stocking stuffers. They're just an all-around great gift because there is a charm for nearly every personality!

...and these are only a few of the Necklines that we have in stock...come see them all!The Lula Loops collection is also from Valgal gifts (Valorie's company)...these matching beaded bracelets and necklaces are so popular right now and I just got in a reorder...so hurry in and get your initial while supplies last!

Gift Idea #8 is Wedgits

These blocks are so cool! They aren't your typical building blocks...and I'm not saying anything against Legos...but aren't we ready for a different kind of building block?

There is a special set for 1 year olds (they're soft and squishy and won't hurt if baby falls on them or if they get thrown at you or at Fido!) and then they have the sets for 2 years and up - and they interchange just fine with the squishy versions (the box says "for ages 2 to 102" ...sorry you 103 year olds are just out of luck...these blocks are not for you! Lol!)

We have several different sets of these blocks ....some with wheels, some with their own carrying cases...and at several different price points (starting at $14.99) and we have a set that would be perfect for you! Come check them out! These blocks are a truly unique gift idea!

Come in and play with our Wedgits table...a sampling of the different blocks and sets available with Wedgits. See what you think about them!

Gift Idea #9 is Paper Dolls
Do you remember playing with paper dolls? I do! Before the days of The Sims and "instant makeover" games and websites, we had paper dolls. It was easier to change their clothes than Barbies or baby dolls and you could have almost any themed paper doll that you wanted. I know that I had Sleeping Beauty ones and Little Red Riding Hood ones and I think even some Scarlett O'Hara ones at one point. They were so cool!
Now don't you want your little one to have that same simple fun? Creativity runs wild when kids are left to their own devices without toys that do all the work for them!
The great thing about these paper dolls is that we have them for boys and girls! The boy one is a macho cowboy paper doll...so cute!
I just think that paper dolls might be a fun and interesting change from the usual "plugged in" life that the kids are so use to now! Plus retro stuff is so in style right now ... and, hey, you might find yourself sitting down to play with these too!

Gift Idea #10 is Stuffed Animals

Finally, stuffed animals are always a great go-to gift! And like I've said before, we don't just go for the same old same old stuffed animals. Yeah, we have the teddy bears, lambs and puppies....but we also have the goats, rams, dinosaurs, wooly mammoths, penguins, iguanas, polar bears, baby seals, frogs, kangaroos, giraffes, elephants, donkies, crocodiles....lol...you get the picture! From Hello Kitty to Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo animals and from groovy pets to lovies for babies...we have a stuffed animal for everyone.

If we don't have the "creature" that you're looking for, just let us know and we'll try our best to find it!

Some of our animals (like some of the Groovy Girl horses) even make sounds!

I'm not sure that this is actually an animal...but we have these too! Our Cirque De Soleil toys and plushes (like this fellow here!) are a big hit with customers.

This is our newest lovie for babies...and they are selling so great! They look really cute monogrammed and they would make a perfect gift for baby's first Christmas!

Yes, even the Taggies company makes a stuffed animal!
I had to show you this one! Here is one of those darn teddy bears that I talked about earlier...only this one comes with a coat to match! I think this coat is so funny that it's cute and the babies that I've seen in it have been sooo adorable! I could see this as being a perfect "prop" for a 1 year photo...or maybe a Christmas photo....but really it would just be a great, fun coat for baby! And it's so cozy and warm!
That's all for now folks! Sorry, once again, for being a slacker! I'll post some more gift ideas later today and some pictures from the big graduation day too!
Open House/my Graduation Reception on Sunday went great too! Watch for that post as well!
