God Light

For a few minutes on Monday it looked like we were going to get a storm.
It got dark and really windy. We looked outside, though, and this is what we saw.

How can you stay inside and worry about a storm when you see something so beautiful? It really makes you stop and think and thank God for the BEAUTY of everything that he has created - even storm clouds!
We didn't get the storm...but what a show, huh?

What does $2,000 worth of Jibbitz look like?

New Jibbitz are HERE!

LOT'S & LOT'S OF JIBBITZ!!
The giant flowers are always popular...and I FINALLY was able to get in the black and white ones...hooray!
Disney Princesses Cinderella and Ariel join the mix...
Ok, so that isn't really "the" Joker...but it works, right? With the movie being so popular and all, we're almost out of Bat-Jibbitz...so I figured now was a good time to reorder!
Some of my nurses, medics and firefighters have been asking for Jibbitz with their symbols...here you go!
I love the trucks and rocket ships!
Ballet shoes for my ballerinas...
and what was suppose to be a yellow ribbon for the troops...but it looks more gold to me...I guess it still works the same way if the thought is there, huh?

Soccerballs...Volleyballs...Basketballs...Footballs...Golfballs

We've got 'em all covered!

Since several of our Predators went to Philadelphia, and since they aren't in our division or our conference, we can cheer for them! So for atleast me and Seth...maybe a few others...I got the Flyers Jibbitz. I still love Scotty Hartnell and Kimmo Timonen...so GO PHILLY!...unless we ever meet them in the Stanley Cup Finals...then BOOO!...but, trust me, it'll be hard for me to say that to Scotty!

Of course, UT....

I ordered the Dallas Cowboys' Star...also I reordered the Titans, Vandy and my Predators Jibbitz...

Jewels are always popular ... especially when y'all see the CUTE sparkly outfits that we have for fall that these jewels will go great with! And just so you know...I ordered extra of the pink, fuchsia, purple and clear....I know that's what you wanted!

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to you!
Happy Birthday to you!
Happy 2nd Birthday to Kora!
Happy Birthday to you!

One of our SWEETEST little customers, miss Kora, turns 2 this weekend! She was wearing one of her GoodLad outfits from the shop today when we spotted her next door at Tan 4 U where her mommy works and I just had to take her picture! She is just so cute...every time she sees me or mom anywhere, not just at the shop, she says, "You got toys for me?" She's so funny because she will talk and talk and talk and then giggle...we don't always know what she's saying...but it makes us giggle too! She also talks with her hands, which is so funny to see in a kid so small!

Kora LOVES her Crocs...she was wearing them today too!

Happy Happy Birthday!

We caught a couple of shoplifters in the shop today. This is a picture of what the women tried to get away with. They had emptied their purses in their car and brought their empty purses in the shop so that they could fill them up.

We have trouble with shoplifters from time to time but usually they put the stuff back and leave after they know that we're on to them.

These women were either stubborn or just not super smart criminals...they stayed in the shop while dad stood there "straightening" right next to where they were, they stayed after mom told me to call the non-emergency police number to ask if someone could come do a walk-through, they even stayed while I talked on the phone to the dispatcher on the non-emergency number and DESCRIBED them in detail...and you all know, I'm not a quiet person and neither is mom! The women either wanted to get caught or were so focused on not getting caught and seeing where dad was while he was watching them that they didn't hear me on the phone for a good 5 minutes waiting for the police to get here!

I want to say how much we appreciated the police that responded to the call. I didn't get their names because dad was the one dealing with them while I was taking care of customers, but they got here super quick and then handled everything really really well. They didn't scare any of our other customers off either, which was something we had been kind of worried about.

The women actually got taken away in the cop cars. I don't know what happened to them after that though. Hopefully they learned a lesson, but really, more than that, I just hope they don't come back to the shopping center...then at least we would have to worry about two less shoplifters coming around.

Can you believe what some people will do? It's crazy...

Anyway, I just wanted to share this with you all. This is something we deal with and this is true for every shop in Warren County...people think that if they just take one or two little things, they think, "How can this make any difference?"...it does though. Also I wanted to brag a little on our community's police (at least the ones who were here for us!) and about the efficiency of our non-emergency police number - 668-7000!

Wedgits

We did so well last Christmas with these Wedgits blocks...so this year we have really expanded our selection! Come in and check out all of the new sets that we got in this week!
You would not believe how great these blocks are. This is the greatest gift because there are some larger more costly sets, but there are some smaller less expensive sets too.
There is a soft and squishy version for babies and then when they are toddlers there is a harder version for them, but the soft ones can still go back with the hard ones since they are the same shapes.

Everyone from the babies to the parents love these because they really encourage creativity...they make a whole lot more than just that simple pyramid, you know! Come in and check these out while supplies last.

And don't forget that it's not too early to start laying-away for Christmas!
