Christmas is just around the corner...

Yup, you read that right! It's time to start putting stuff back for Christmas.

We have a really relaxed layaway policy and don't mind holding it right up until Christmas-week. We can have it all wrapped up and ready for you...that takes just a little bit of the 'craziness' out of your holiday season!

Change is STRANGE

I love finding unique gift items for kids that nobody else has! I also love companies that understand that and try to create just that sort of stuff!

So, I found this line of books at Market and just fell in love!

The line is called Change is Strange and all the books focus on dealing with big changes happening in the lives of little ones.

With titles like "No More Pacifier", "Mommy and Daddy are Going on a Trip", "My First Day of School", "We're Having a Baby" and "We're Moving"...they cover almost every 'rite of passage' that a little one has to go through!

The books have bright colors and really vivid illustrations...I just know the kids will love them!

The company also makes 'survival kits' with the same titles. They contain the book along with some other "coping supplies".

I think these will make great gifts for the kids.

I really wish that I had known about these books when my Chalee had to give up her pacifier (she called it her tootoo)...I'm pretty sure the emotional scarring was deep. You read about it in this post...they told her that the dog had eaten it but I'm pretty sure she was convinced that Jordin Tootoo from the Predators had a little something to do with it! I could have read her the book and calmed her nerves maybe!

Chocolate & Polka Dots

This is only a glimpse of the new baby line that we have...it's already flying off the shelves and we've only had it for a couple of weeks!

Everyone seems to really like it and it's because the chocolate/pink, chocolate/blue color schemes seem to be really popular right now! Polka dots have been in for quite awhile...but they're as in style as ever!

Pageant and Flower Girl Dresses

For you last minute fair pageant shoppers...we just got in a shipment of really pretty pageant dresses for the littler girls and little suits and tuxes for the little boys!

I'll post pictures of the boys stuff later today...but for now here are some of the dresses! Soooo pretty! They would also make great flower girl dresses...we actually ordered a couple that I might possibly use for my flowergirls!

Replenished Necklines

Once again, my Necklines display is full! We have every letter in at least two styles and I got every letter they had left in the soon to be discontinued oval vintage style.

I also stocked up on the LulaLoops beaded wire necklaces by Necklines. I have every letter...for now.

This is my second time ordering this neckline but I don't think I posted a picture of it last time...I really think it's one of the prettier crosses that we carry.
