Babies love these soft and cushion-y rugs! and really, who can blame them? I want one big enough for me! These are great for tummy time, for naps, to lay on hard floors, or just as a really cute wall hanging or decoration in baby's room. We have monkeys, giraffes, pink and blue bears and lambs. These are the best shower gifts...we've gotten so many rave reviews from new mommies!

GREAT Expectations

We've had these bracelets for awhile but I've never posted about them.

I think they are so cute...nine bracelets each with a charm on it that has a blessing for the baby. These are great for new mommies who just found out they are expecting, for the new mommy who just gave birth, for a new grandma, etc. etc. They make great gifts and a great keepsake. They come in blue or pink and are really pretty with crystal and silver beading.

Happy World Breastfeeding Week!

Every year over 120 countries all over the world celebrate World Breastfeeding Week - a celebration of breastfeeding! This week is World Breastfeeding Week in the United States and groups all over the nation are using the national recognition of this week to really spread the word about the benefits of breastfeeding and to offer encouragement and support to mommies who are considering breastfeeding.

In honor of World Breastfeeding Week we are excited to introduce a new baby line of 'breastfeeding hats' at the shop!

What is a breastfeeding hat, you ask?

A breastfeeding hat is based on a simple, fun idea.

The idea? Design a hat just for the breastfeeding baby, with a tiny little head and great big brim.

The wide brim offers a little privacy for mom, and cuts out distractions for baby.

The fun? Super soft, all natural fabrics, baby-friendly colours, and delightful illustrations for the top of the head.

The "stay on head sideways" design means that once the hat is on, it'll stay on, and no more fussing with dropping blankets or awkward, bulky 'nursing covers'. While the big brim gives mom a little privacy, it doesn't cover up the breastfeeding, it celebrates it in a fun sort of way!

Hello Baby

Y'all have been waiting for something like this...Hello Kitty now has BABY GIFTS! Sippy cups, diaper bags with matching mommy purses, receiving blankets and wash cloths make up this new line from Sanrio and it's sooo cute!

We love this company; Images by Ellyn. The frames that this company makes are for sonogram pictures...which is something so sweet and special because it's the first picture you get of your baby. This company pledges to make frames that will help to showcase and preserve that special memory for you and we are so glad to be a part of that! Plus, they're so cute, with cute quotes and sayings on them; the pictures are only a few of the styles that we have.

These make great shower gifts but I've also seen them used as "surprise, I'm having a baby!" gifts for family members.

Go check out the story behind these frames - it's really touching. Mom got to meet the owner/designer of the company and says that she's just as sweet as she seems in the story.

Our baby slings from Sweet Fletcher Designs are some of my favorite things that we have to offer at the shop. One of our mommies was in the store a little while back and I got permission to snap this picture of her baby in her Sweet Fletcher sling...just look how comfy they both look. I thought I'd take this time to share the pic and to tell you all a little bit about the slings!

Finally finally they are really catching on here in McMinnville! We have just gotten so use to lugging around those cumbersome baby carriers, not to mention the strain on your back and arms from carrying it around, that many folks don't even think how much easier it really can be.
