A "sweet" baby gift!

This "sweet" little outfit will make such a cute baby gift. It comes already wrapped up like a lollipop and would make such a great conversation piece at the shower! Love this!

Whimsical

Everything about these bags (the fabric, the colors, the animals, those ribbons!) is super cute and just so much fun!
.....................................................
I could totally see all of these elements being incorporated into a baby's nursery.

Chic Diaper Bags

Today's new mommy needs more than just a big diaper bag to carry all of the baby necessities...
she needs a cute and stylish bag that can be carried just about anywhere.
We can help with that...

These are cute enough to keep around even after the baby outgrows the bag.
Just think about it...the same outer (and inner) material that keeps baby's milk and applesauce from staining the bag will one day keep sand (beach bag) and shampoo (carry-on bag) from messing up the bag. I love it!

WUBBANUB -
a pacifier and lovie all in one - two of baby's favorite things combined - also solves the "missing pacifier" problem once and for all.
And country singer Dierks Bentley (and daddy to Baby Evie) is a big fan of Wubbanubs and even wrote a song about them that he sings to his daughter!

From their website:

Necessity is the mother of invention... A mother's love for her fussy child sparked inventiveness and ingenuity to create a revolutionary product which has been soothing baby's fussy time for over 10 years. Every parent will agree that they would do just about anything to soothe their crying child. Most parents also have their own "crying baby" horror stories which seemed to test their very sanity. The "Original" WubbaNub was created to solve a common dilemma most young families face.

The Birth of WubbaNub... They say "necessity is the mother of invention " and for Carla Schneider, it was an absolute necessity that she soothe her infant baby on their first vacation as a family. What was supposed to be a relatively relaxing, blissful time was replaced with non-stop fussing and crying. After an entire night of the ever-persistent "missing pacifier syndrome", Carla knew she needed to take matters into her own hands. She found the hotel sewing kit and took her baby's favorite soft plush toy and sewed the pacifier right onto it. Thus, a happy ending for the Schneider family's vacation and the birth of the first WubbaNub!

The luv for WubbaNub... Although pacifiers have been a family staple for numerous years, Carla's patented concept turned out to be a truly innovative improvement. Moms recognized the peaceful tranquility their children received and spread the word along to others. That word quickly spread to hospitals, who quickly recognized the products unique benefits. the slight weight of the plush animal keeps the pacifier in place near the baby. It also provides comfort and makes it so much easier for the baby to grasp and manipulate the pacifier themselves. Which means fewer bouncing, rolling and lost pacifiers and less rooting around in the stroller, crib or bag to find where the pacifier went.

WubbaNub has crated a reputation in the parenting and children's industry for being dedicated to nurturing babies in the safest, healthiest way possible. Over the last decade, WubbaNubs have been sold nationwide, converting a majority into die-hard fans because "once you go Wub, everything else is just a pacifier".

Even though Carla's children are not WubbaNub users anymore, her core philosophy to create products that she would feel safe giving them still holds true. WubbaNub strives to surpass the strictest codes and governmental regulations that ensure it is offering the best and safest WubbaNub products possible.

I'll keep you posted about the new lines that we're bringing into the shop and about when the Wubbanubs and BabyLegs start arriving. Stay tuned! And thanks again for your suggestions...keep 'em coming!

Yeah, yeah, we have the classics...blankets, gowns, stuffed animals and baby books...but there is soooo much more in store for you when you come into the shop! Just another example...

These are great for tummy time, for naps, to lay on hard floors, or just as a really cute wall hanging or decoration in baby's room. We have monkeys, giraffes, pink and blue bears and lambs. These are the best shower gifts...we've gotten so many rave reviews from new mommies!

GREAT Expectations

We've had these bracelets for awhile but I've never posted about them.
I think they are so cute...nine bracelets each with a charm on it that has a blessing for the baby. These are great for new mommies who just found out they are expecting, for the new mommy who just gave birth, for a new grandma, etc. etc. They make great gifts and a great keepsake. They come in blue or pink and are really pretty with crystal and silver beading.

Change is STRANGE

I love finding unique gift items for kids that nobody else has! I also love companies that understand that and try to create just that sort of stuff!

So, I found this line of books at Market and just fell in love!

The line is called Change is Strange and all the books focus on dealing with big changes happening in the lives of little ones.

With titles like "No More Pacifier", "Mommy and Daddy are Going on a Trip", "My First Day of School", "We're Having a Baby" and "We're Moving"...they cover almost every 'rite of passage' that a little one has to go through!

The books have bright colors and really vivid illustrations...I just know the kids will love them!

The company also makes 'survival kits' with the same titles. They contain the book along with some other "coping supplies".

I think these will make great gifts for the kids.
I really wish that I had known about these books when my Chalee had to give up her pacifier (she called it her tootoo)...I'm pretty sure the emotional scarring was deep. You read about it in this post...they told her that the dog had eaten it but I'm pretty sure she was convinced that Jordin Tootoo from the Predators had a little something to do with it! I could have read her the book and calmed her nerves maybe!
