Piggy Banks

We got in a new shipment of piggy banks! These are one of our most popular items for showers, for birthdays...really, for any gift giving occasion for kids! Celebrations!

I have been terrible these past couple of weeks...I've gotten all wrapped up in getting ready for my LAST SEMESTER OF SCHOOL and haven't focused as much on the blog...sorry.

So, I have a couple of special occasions to note!

First of all...on July 27th my parents celebrated their 40th anniversary! They are two of the best parents a kid could ask for. They've set such a great example of a good relationship...they believe in talking a lot and just hanging out together. So...belated as it is...Happy Anniversary to Mom and Dad! I love you sooo very much and am so glad that God picked y'all for me 23 years ago!

Second...Yesterday was my Chalee's birthday! She turned 3 years old. I cannot believe how fast she has grown up! She is such a big girl now...she talks in complete sentences, makes conversations that actually make sense, remembers stuff for long periods of time...just all of these things that are soooo amazing to me that a 3-year-old knows! She's probably completely normal and average...but to me (and the rest of the family) she's pretty much a genius and the cutest kid ever! Happy happy birthday to you, Chalee! You've grown so much and you are such a BIG girl and I'm so proud of you! You will forever be my girl and are my absolute favorite kid in the world!

One of our SWEETEST little customers, miss Kora, turns 2 this weekend! She was wearing one of her GoodLad outfits from the shop today when we spotted her next door at Tan 4 U where her mommy works and I just had to take her picture! She is just so cute...every time she sees me or mom anywhere, not just at the shop, she says, "You got toys for me?" She's so funny because she will talk and talk and talk and then giggle...we don't always know what she's saying...but it makes us giggle too! She also talks with her hands, which is so funny to see in a kid so small!

Kora LOVES her Crocs...she was wearing them today too!

A Birthday Sale

As always...July is my birth-month and we like to celebrate the whole month. So...starting this Friday we'll be having a sale!

Select Crocs and Sanrio and all of our swimwear. Since we just got back from Market and restocking and revamping our baby section - we'll also have some of our baby things from past seasons on sale! We especially love the 'big sister' shirt - a nice shirt for those older big sisters that feel too old for the Adorable Original ones. The horse ones are always nice too because all little girls love horses right now!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

Mom turns 56 today, so make sure to tell her Happy Birthday if you see her. As I've said before; she's the best mom that I could ask for but, even better than that, she's one of my best friends and we can talk about anything together. I'm very glad that I have her! I hope the rest of today is great for her!

Her day has already been made once today though. Chalee came to visit and ran in the door saying "HAPPY BIR-DAY AUNT HENEN!!!" and gave her a big hug and kiss! She also went back to our play kitchen and made mom a pretend cake and some pretend sweet tea!
